Scout Days

Scout Days are opportunities for Scouts and their families to receive discounts on events with our community partners. Many of our partners also offer merit badge classes and advancement workshops for Cub Scouts and Webelos.


The National Weather Service Houston/Galveston office offers free Skywarn classroom and webinar training courses on how to spot and report severe weather. Scouters are invited to attend.​ Upcoming training sessions are posted here.
 


 

Bayou Land Conservancy is now offering free workshop opportunities for Scouts to help you earn advancement requirements in a unique manner while having a hands-on experience outdoors. iFLY makes the dream of flight a reality with indoor skydiving in a safe and fun environment. iFLY offers special rates and programs for Scout outings! Main Event offers all-access passes to Scouts. The pass includes four hours of unlimited activities (e.g., bowling, laser tag), two slices of pizza, drink, $10 card, and patch for $20.95 per person. A private room is available.

Discover the value of teamwork when working with your crew and meet old friends and new ones. ​Cub Scouts can attend Splash Weekends to earn requirements towards the new aquatics program and a variety of STEM / Nova classes. Boy Scouts can attend weekend adventures and summer high adventure activities. Adventures include a variety activities such as kayaking, small boat sailing, big boat sailing, beach volleyball. scuba diving, crew-to-crew competition, STEM/Nova courses and more.

Monster Jam® brings motorsport fans to the edge of their seats with adrenaline-charged, high-flying, four-wheel excitement that is fun for the entire family. Unexpected, unscripted and unforgettable, Monster Jam takes center stage in the world’s most iconic venues, sporting meticulously manicured dirt tracks created with the sole purpose of pushing these perfectly engineered, larger-than-life trucks to the limit. Scout ticket prices are $27 or $17 based on seating location. The tickets include a patch and free pit party pass. The Pit Party is your opportunity to get an up-close look at the amazing trucks of Monster Jam and receive autographs from your favorite Monster Jam drivers. The Monster Jam Pit Party will take place from 2:30 pm-5:30 pm. No Pit Party admission after 5:00 pm.
